finally managed to find some dosh and upgrade my laptop. went with the samsung series three jobby fae currys with intel i5 3rd gen for 499 then 100 cashback fae samsung,
trying my best to not clutter it up and hopefully use my other one for storage.
well anyway anyone know how i can get office 2010 for nothing hint hint;). or should i just install my office 2003 and be content.

Having been a contented Office 2003 user for many years our workplace technology bods finally caught up with me and "upgraded" my laptop to 2010. Utter crap, how difficult do they want to make Excel for menial tasks? Putting a line graph on two axis requires a Microsoft degree! Don't even get me started on creating a decent pivot table/chart.
If it weren't for the fact that 2003 is no longer supported I would still have it, 2007 Enterprise would be a better bet as it's not a bad as 2010 version IMO.

Download libre office - its open source so free.

Does almost everything that Office does and there's loads of support online

And it's FREE and legal, better than using bootleg copies of office...
