Anyone else having problems with Google chrome crashing and pages becoming un- responsive. I've tried clearing history , and some other fixes suggested on other forums but no joy . I deleted it and changed to Explorer, but theres no speel chickir on it. Should I try and install chrome again if so what's a safe site to download it from,. Help a PC dummy please.

Haven't got that problem but mine keeps crashing when I try to update. Bloody hate computers

chrome does become unresponsive if lots of tabs open and each tab is a high intensity graphics or images or video website.

apart from that I like it and use it for everything


P.S it does do spell checker- go to settings- advanced settings, language and input settings and ensure enable spell checker is ticked, and the correct language of course (or did you mean no checker on explorer?)

settings
advanced settings

At the bottom you can reset Chrome back to factory defaults

afterwards, go back into settings to sort out your home page/s and search engine

Out of interest who is your internet provider?

I deleted Google Chrome, I take it I need to download and install it again, there is a few site to choose from, the first one flagged up on my AVG as a threat.
What's the best site to download from.

Thanks Phil i tried that but it still say there's a problem with google programme and has stopped working.
I'll take to my local repair guy tomorrow before i make things worse .
