Played in a comp/society thing at Dukinfield on Friday.. betterball stableford with my neighbour. About 60 entered so it was a decent turnout. We managed to get 43 points with me birdying the 17th and 18th holes..chipped in on the stroke one 17th for a 3. Our playing partners also got 43 points (right bandits!) but we lost to them and one other team on countback. We won a round for 4 at de vere Wychwood Park which is apparently a nice track so will be looking forward to that.
Typically though my leccy trolley broke on the back 9. Handle snapped off so it's now unusable. My neighbour gave it to me as he had upgraded and knew of my health problems so no big loss of money on it but still a right pain. I had saved up for a while and just bought a set of mizzy irons and now this happens! Emailed Gokart to see if they have any ex demo/display models but not holding out much hope..
