Even if you're playing like a cow, golf will always give you something to look back on. My great memory was April 1975 when I walked round the Augusta National Golf Course on the Wednesday before the tournament started. Saw them all practising - Nicklaus, Player, Palmer etc. Saw the 3 Brits, Jacklin, Oosterhuis and Maurice Bembridge, who held the course record at the time (64). Saw Jack hit a 1-iron into the 15th green. Watched the par-3 competition, got soaked to the skin later but it was marvellous!
Let's hear yours!

Mine is more of a funny than a memory, and only happened this Saturday just past.

Friendly fourball my partner had a nasty up hill lie with approx 150 into green. He waggles he fires he spins round and lands on his arse, however the ball finished no more than 6 feet from the pin......

One of the funniest yet most spectacular shots I have ever seen.
