Leading on from the Ogilvy/Allenby handbags, how about suggesting some likely pugilists from the world of golf, who would come out on top and why?

Heres a starter:

Woods Vs Williams

In Tigers dreams! This is a bad blood pairing, with plenty of trash talking beforehand. Williams gets an absolute whooping.

Montgomery Vs Torrance

Difficult one to call this as as Sam's belly shots kept getting lost in 'Ol Grumpy's rolls confusing the scorers. Monty may have the reach, but his sloth-like speed means Sam is sobbing with joy after flooring the big man with a cheap shot whilst Monty was complaining to the referee about cameras, noise from the crowd, the quality of the canvas etc etc etc

Just for fun:)

Keegan Bradley vs Adam Scott looked a good match up but had to be abandoned. Neither could land a punch without anchoring themselves to the ring corners

Greg Norman versus Scott hoch. Great match, until the sudden death play off. 78 holes later, still going, with every hole halve in 8s.

Johnny Millar v just about any golfer you like

Continually slags them off as not fit to swing the club - bout called of after boxer loses hand inside cavenous gob of bitter and twisted has been

Would be a more exciting fight than John Hawksworth versus Nick Faldo. They wouldn't need to throw any punches they would just bore each other to death.
