Morning chaps and chap-esses,

On the lookout for a reasonably cheap 3-wheel trolley + cart-bag until I get SWMBO to buy me some more 'premium' ones...

Came across this crowd, http://www.golf-xpress.com and wondered if anyone had had dealings with them in the past? They are selling through Amazon and Ebay as well as through this site. The site looks cheap, but there is proper contact details - dedicated domain email, postal address, phone number, so despite its design, I've no reason to suspect its rubbish.

Looking at their stock, I could do a Greenway Golf 3-wheeler + Cart Bag for a combined £65 which is far and away cheaper than any other retailer, but I'm dubious to the quality given such a low price. Anyone used Greenway products? I suppose I could live with them until April (when it is my birthday!) providing they don't fall apart after a handful of holes... ;)

Would have posted this in the For Sale/Wanted board, but my post count isn't high enough to allow it.

Cheers all, and have a good Sunday!

I have dealt with them thorough eBay but not direct, hassle free.
The website looks fine I would have know worries placing an order uk contact number and address which checks out in an area with several nearby golf courses.
Can't comment on quality of greenway kit although if you are thinking of upgrading shortly then I would suggest there would be little resale value and maybe worth delaying and taking the plunge on something you will keep for a while? That said it might turn out decent kit and excellent value.

Cheers mate, I'm thinking that for £65 I'd probably get what I'm paying for but its not a huge amount to lose if either or both turn out to be rubbish; all I'm looking for is something functional and of reasonable quality until such times as SWMBO comes up with the good stuff on my birthday. Providing they're not utter rubbish and don't fall apart on me early, I could give them to the lad to use afterwards. :)

Well, I have to say my fears about Golf Xpress are/were unfounded; ordered the kit on Sunday afternoon and was delivered today at 1pm... just as I was heading out the door.

Haven't had much time to really look over the stuff, but first impressions are the trolley looks really solid.. the wheel base is huge, and moves well around my hall with no hint of push/pull. Assembly instructions were a bit confusing, but managed to work it out and it looks like a rebranded Masters 3 trolley when assembled.

Now to the bag, you can tell by looking it isn't a premium product, but nonetheless its functional and doesn't look cheap either; but there are plenty of pockets - large ball pocket fronts a cooler pocket; full length clothing pockets either side (one houses strap/rainhood); lined valuables pocket and 2 other assorted pockets. External putter holder and brolly loop, which is really just a drawstring (don't know if this is normal). The rainhood is quite thin, I might swap this out with the one on my stand bag when in use, but other than that I'm pleasantly surprised...

Didn't expect a lot for £65 inc. delivery for both items, but I'm quite impressed with first impressions. True test will come at St. Andrews Kittocks on Sunday...
