I have a long weekend away coming up, 12 people due to attend, with regards to recent new legislation, rumblings that it may not go ahead, my first thoughts are to split into smaller groups, probably 4's, obviously for golf but for other things like meals, drinks and accommodation as well.

I was wondering what the thoughts of others are.

England golf issued guidance yesterday I think. Have a look on their website

From the brief read, basically break your groups down into smaller groups.

6 of us going to pitlochry soon for an overnight trip - 6 different households

we have twin rooms - will need to split up into 3 groups of 2 when in bars and clubhouse etc

Hope your young and fit quite a hike up the first few holes ?

If you’ve not played it before you should enjoy it great views and a decent course, me and wife stayed at B and B just below course very good stay.

What is the status on sharing a room with a friend?

Enjoy the trip!

i stayed on the course a few years ago, little white cottage near 18th tee from memory

...and the two groups of six must not mix or associate - they must act as if those in each group don’t know those in the other group and don’t wish to get to know each other ?
