Golf things I DONT want this xmas

What's wrong with scorecard holders? I got a lovely soft leather one last Christmas from my in laws. I use it regularly.

I don't want anything golf related as I'm very choosy about the stuff I use. In fact, I don't really want anything other than a nice day with my family. I'd rather they spent the money on a nice bottle of wine or single malt so that we could have a nice drink together, rather than turning up and drinking mine.

People don't really actually use those dreadful scorecard holders though.....do they??

Honestly?:mmm:

A subscription to Golf World......could you just imagine?:smirk:

I'm actually a little bit heartbroken now. I love my scorecard holder. It's really soft and tactile. But I may have to retire it now.

Nothing for me too. Me' n' HID have decided enough is enough there is nothing we need so we are keeping the money in the bank and just having a really nice day with a drop of something nice to sip on, all the trimmings and a kip after the queens speech. There comes a time when all you are doing is buying for buying sake. We have reached that point I think.

Don't see what's wrong with scorecard holders.
I use one and there are times when I hand over a flat neatly written card to a partner only to receive a barley legible, dog-eared, tattered piece of card back, espeically when it's raining.

Same here. We do set a small budget of £30 though just so there are a few pressies under the tree. Usually they are fun novelty gifts that don't last much past christmas but raise a smile!

3 balls some tees a pitch fork and ball marker

year before i got some balls with euro disney and the eiffel tower on them (she had recently been france)
