Golf Shots of the Year

The shot of the year for me has to be the Chinese/Korean/Tipei fellas out of the trees in the play off versus Rory...it was in an event in the far east I think and think it was early in the year....can anyone help me here?? It was one hell of a stroke"

For me it has to be Lee Westwood's second shot to the 18th in the first round in Dubai, where he was right on the collar between semi-rough and bark chippings. I know it was very recent, and there may be others of merit that I have forgotten about, but what a tremendous shot.

That was indeed a super shot but for me there is no contest

Great bunker shot not sure about the commentator sounded like he was enjoying it a little bit to much

I can't argue about those great shots but none of them beat my hole in 1 at eccleston park this summer! FACT :D

Come to think of it I witnessed one of the greatest strokes of all time this year, our no.1 in the munch, and I mean munch,it was down deeper than an Alvaro Quiros drive...at the 18th lying a/s against a fella who reckons he's a bit of a player (fact is he's a 1 track pony)....Myself and IM02 were both thinking if he hits the green anywhere it is a fantastic shot and he puts it to 1.5 feet from 60 yards to win 1up!!! :D

An unbelievable shot...was it partly luck? Well, he turned to me straight after I said to him 'anywhere on the dancefloor will do son and we'll take the half' and says 'half?I'm knocking this c##t stiff pal!!' :D

So many to choose from...

Probably Smiffy's bunkershot to the 18th at Highwoods, he was in 'no chance saloon' plopped in the bunker about 95yds from the pin and flies it all the way to the pin, lands softly for a 2foot tap in birdie... pure class* :)

(* = can be substituted for FLUKE)

If you see his swing you'd understand why it was such a good shot ;)
