Returned last week from a large family holiday in the Borders. Just wanted to comment on how welcoming the three courses we played were. We played St Boswell twice with our teenagers one of whom is just learning but a lovely 9 holes by the Tweed not hard but perfect for them. Myself and the teenagers played at Kelso again not a hard course but 18 holes and at £14 for 3 of us a real bargain. The adults then played at Roxburghe which was for us a real challenge but worth it , some great holes and views (but too many bunkers). A group of us normally go on a long weekend golf break each year , had never done the Borders before will definitely back next year.
