Hi guys, im looking to sell my old golf clubs in order to buy some new ones. Could any of you sensibly give me a good estimate of what i should sell my old golf club set for--- they are mega force camber sole (fifteen years old or so); pitcher, 2, 3 ,4 ,5 ,6 8, 9 , Ray Cook M-1 putter (large), Ray cook putter (smaller) and a Murphys Irish Stout case (brand new). It'd be a great help if someone could give me a realistic estimate. Sorry I don't know much about such equipment! Serious replies only please!!:p

Your best bet is to have a look on Ebay but I wouldn't expect that they will be worth much at all. Old tired shafts and not a well known name, old technology too...

just to put Hobbit's post in perspective I am currently looking to buy a set of lady irons to cut down and am looking at a lot more modern sets and expecting to purchase for about £30 inc postage.

I would recommend selling the bag, putters and pitcher seperately but don't expect much.

I think if you get anything for them you will be doing well. Manufacturers bring out new sets with alarming regularity now so there are so many very good quality second hand clubs around. Which yours unfortunately are not. And if you can get half decent complete new sets with bag from places like Direct Golf for relative peanuts. Yes they are not top brand clubs, but I am struggling to think why anyone would want to buy yours with all the decent second hand stuff around and cheap new sets.

Then again you never know, just put them on ebay starting at 1p and see what gives. Also perhaps see if anyone will do a part ex with you when you are getting a new set, even a tenner off is better than a poke in the eye.
