GM Training DVD

Rubbish!!!! :) ;)

Check out the bunker one regarding trouble shots. He leaves two of them on the lip of the bunker (not even on the green).

I'm sure a few of the guys on here could show John Jacobs a thing of two about getting out of bunkers!!! :D

i spotted that too, ha ha, i think he was focussing on the tv delivery more than the shot - he made getting it onto the lip look teribly easy. i, for one, can make even that look hard!

I thought the driving tips were great, especially how to stop the slice, it has worked for me,wrists crossed over at finish. Probably aimed at high handicappers and beginners such as myself to be fair, although everyone is always learning.

Being very new to the game, I found the chipping section most useful. I'd just been relying on my 7 iron to do the biz from all distances in, and these tips helped me post my best figures today.
If only they'd put in a section abbout hitting irons, aiming, not topping the ball, zen chanting to stop the attack of the swearies...... :)
I did find the putting section a bit naff though - stalking the green sounds a bit too pervy for me :o

Well the best tip for me was in the driving section but applies all round - about grip strength and not strangling the club. I have found a looser grip aides my ball striking but not the direction - yet!

I think the clips on the DVD have been doing the rounds for a little bit. I got a "Lower your golf handicap" book/dvd set from my monster-in-law for Chrimble and the DVD that came with that was pretty much exactly the same set of clips from this disc.

Not that I am complaining, I think the clips were very helpful and free is my favourite price.
