MikeH - I know you were interested in the outcome of this as you may be able to source these cheaper, let me know if you can fella.

I've just recieved this reply for the clothing company I have approached regarding the polo shirts:

"Hi Keith,

Sorry it’s taken me a while to reply to you, I have been away on holiday. The price I quoted you previously of £5.50 was for our own brand polo shirts which with the logo you sent with your email would work out at £5.80 per polo shirt. If you want the SL20 Slazenger Polo Shirt, with one logo on the left hand side on the front of the polo they will be £11.20 each. This is if you are intending for the name to go in the same part of the polo. If you want the name on the opposite side, (on the right of the polo) then the price per polo will be £12.20 each.

For each logo to be digitised for our machines to be read there is a one-off set-up charge cost of £20.00 per logo.

All prices are + VAT.

If you require any further information please let me know.

So, £5.80 for a non branded polo with GM logo and you're forum name on or,
£12.20 for a Slazenger polo (I really cant stress how good quality these are too) with the GM logo & name.

£12.20 including embroidery? That is a flippin' bargain! Gets my vote.

I recently paid £20 each for 32 Slazenger shirts including Logo on left side, 3 lines of text on the right side and nickname on the sleeve. Very good quality shirts and great fit, so we were happy.

Keef - can I get this company's details....they could be useful to our society next year!

Are these for the general member then? Or just for the inter forum match next year. I fancy one of these myself...

12 handicap and below
:D

Keef
is it OK to mention these on the Golf Magic site as I would assume that primarily you have the inter forum match in mind?

Lads I can just see the first forum meeting with us all in our new polo's ... sparks would fly.

Really, as soon as the handshakes start members would ugnite from all the static electricity given off by Slazengers finest man made fabrics.

I would go for one as long as it WASN'T Slazenger.

Smiffy - knock yourself out although if you want the Magic logo on someone else will have to pay the initial set up fee of £20 for it.

I know what you mean fella, as i've had a Slazenger golf top before, however, these polo's are not the same material as their golf tops and they really are decent clobber.

So that would add about £1.00 to the total cost of each shirt.
What would the total price be per item including that Keith???
