Still no sign of this months GM :D

So i have just rung IPC media and they said they have had quite a few complaints - people getting mags 4 weeks late etc and that royal mail have said tough - Magazines aren't their priority.

Fairplay to the girl she said she would credit my account so once the credit comes through I will just go and buy a copy (like in the olden days)
 
spoke to someone at ipc yesturday who advised me my mag wasnt even sent until the 5th, and still no sign.

The worst of it is this was the first issue as part of a subscription that was a gift for christmas. I hate to say it but i think maybe buying the mag off the shelf is a safer bet.
 
I have been a subscriber for about 18 months now and to be fair i have never had any problems and usually get it about 2-3 days before the shops. It is just the weather and a combination of volume of post i guess.
 
Got mine today along with 5 Christmas cards, One of which had been posted in the next village 3 miles away on the 15th December. It arrived with a croyden post mark on it.


The royal mail are a joke
 
Got mine yesterday . . .about 2 weeks after i usually get it.

The issue is that if the Royal Mail are late delivering, they do not then prioritise the post that is late, they concentrate getting as much out on time as they can to hit targets. They then and clear the backlog when they can.
