So it is nearly the January transfer window. Who is getting excited by what there club is looking at bringing in?

My club (liverpool) is being linked with a complete new squad from the sounds of it, take a look at this little lot

Sanchez and Tello from Barca
Lorentte from Bilbao
Ba from Newcastle
Sturridge from Chelsea
Walcott from Arsenal
Flamini from Milan
Markovich from Belgrade
Alonso from Real
Adrian from Atletico
Cardoza from Benfica

The list is endless. From those players my first choice would be these. Ba, Alonso, Sanchez and Lorentte.

Is your club being linked with anyone worth getting excited about?
 
Liverpool have also been linked wirth buying back Tom Ince from Blackpool for a hell of a lot more than they bought him for. I hope we dont let him go until at least the summer.
 
Not even sure about keeping Gerrard nowadays.
Liverpool really have bought a lot of tat in the last few years.
They have also let a few decent players go for substantially under thier worth.

David Moyes, Alan Pardrew and Neil Lennon seem to be the best 'buyers' these days

Old tat pretty much sums it up. I will always quote a total of £71m for Carroll, Henderson & Downing, absolute joke. It looks like we will be getting Sturridge for 12m a third of the fee paid for Carroll.

Of the players mentioned I could see Sanchez, Cordoza and Alonso returning. The other players are pipe dreams as too many big clubs are also interested in them.
 
2-0 down at home to Villa who imho are crap!!!

we need at least 4 or 5 players but I doubt we will have the funds to buy big :(

its hard being an LFC fan believe me :D

His legs are gone. Still has a very good footballing brain but having watched a couple of Liverpool games lately I think Gerrard is on the slippery slope.

Your right about gerrard,his legs have gone
Need to start by getting a new manager.
He better start with scrapping his try to play football theory,he just hasnt got the players for it.
After watching that joke of a programme,being Liverpool,i couldnt understand what he was trying to
get across to his players,and i believe they dont know either.

Yeah he's a really good player and will only get better, the worrying part is how long can we keep him? The goal he was involved in today with his back heal was something Barca would have been proud of.
 
congrats daveyboy good win for the villa. i can't wait to watch MOTD have you seen the stats on that game? liverpool had 61%possesion and had 26 shots with 17 on target compared to villa with 9 & 6. i have to see what happened. the stats say that villa should have got hammered but won 3-1. that is footie for you though. you have to take your chances when you get them
