gettin mad now!

in reply to a previous post reagding the development of a snap hook... this seems to have been cured and was playing steady however the last 2 rounds have seemed to left me with a nasty shank to the right where the ball travels hardly newhere... off the tee absoulty fine long either straight or with a slight draw! long irons fine get a 7 iron or less and BANG a shank when most not needed! talk about affecting confidance today i was scared to hit the ball... which left me feeling aweful as i played in a invitational day n my partner carried me on at least 12 holes... my frustration is i have never had this problem b4 an its gettin me well mad!

Try standing further away from the ball at address.

Can only endorse the advice of lesson. Lessons, lessons, practice, practice, is all we can do...

As aside, can anyone enlighten me. Is there any difference between a hook and a snap hook? Or are they just the same thing?

A snap hook is a hook that happens a little bit quicker and a lot more violently
