It seems that he tried to use the CL final as a platform in a campaign against Israel

Even Spurs responded to him calling for him to stop the racist tweets - he has been fired from his Talkradio show as well

Reading through a few of the twitter feeds and it’s amazing well not really amazing how many share anti Semitic views in the UK . Social media appears to be giving the gutless racists a platform to spout
 
Being anti-Israel isn’t the same as being anti-Semitic. The Israeli government is just about as evil and disgusting as you can get and we should look to senior politicians to call them out for their continual human rights abuses.

Criticism of Israel isn't necessarily anti-Semitic, but plenty of it is.

Actually, you should visit. I got sent there to work and it changed my view. Not saying they are blameless, but here again, get your news from more than one place.

While I was there the area was subject to rocket attacks. 4 died within half a mile from me. BBC didn't report it. But they did cover the return fire without mentioning it was return fire. Just saying.....



What Galloway said clearly was. Can you imagine a comment on here with a different team and (for example) any flag from the sub-continent? There would be uproar.
 
Seems to have got more and more bitter over last few years.
He would have know the reaction to that stupid football related comment I think.

Sad really as he's a clever man and when he took on the US senate over 14 years ago, however you stand politically, he was pretty impressive to be fair -
