Garmin statistics

Does anyone use them?
Also I am confused what they are comparing to. Some stuff is understandable but other bits are hard to determine.

Arcoss user I'm afraid. They compare against other handicap levels so you can see if you are doing better/worse than those in the database off the same handicap or you can compare yourself to higher/,ower/pro stats

Ditched them a few years ago after I asked a question on their forums to explain some of the stats and didn't get an answer for over a year. It wasn't like Garmin people didn't go to the forums, I saw quite a few other them answering other questions but ignoring all the ones about clarifying their stats.

I would assume that's percentile? So only 6% of people are more accurate than you off the tee? Would you describe yourself as accurate but not overly long?

Interesting take, my driver carry is 230-240yards with distances peaking at 296 due to geography .. I would say average is 255yards realistically. I am also an over 50 desk jockey with no ACLs .. Accuracy figures are in the picture below

I also don't understand the period of time used for data analysis. E.g. is it based on last 10 rounds, last 12 months, all time data?

If you go to club stats in the Garmin app it will show average and max distance by club

The Garmin stats are famously crap. Great watches but the stats are really poor compared to what you can get elsewhere.

I friend of mine ditched them for Arcoss as he said the stats were very basic. I love my Approach watch but I have to say their documentation is woeful!

Well tonight I managed to move them .. worse .
Do you have the tags? I don’t also I am a bit of a club swapper I change to whatever is in the garage that I have and make up a bag ..totally destructive to my game I know.
