I have a Garmin Approach G3 which can't pick up any GPS signal at all.

I've updated the software and maps, tried the hard reset but nothing works. It has no idea where I am and can't find any courses closer than 999 miles away

I have had it years so might have just packed up but has anyone else had this happen?

Thanks

Probably just packed up.

I’ve got a G5, and it’s definitely on its last legs. Takes an age to lock on to the satellite’s now, I reckon it must be 11+ years old so it’s done pretty well. I’ll wager it’s replacement won’t last that long.

Surprised they die in that manner.
I had a skycaddie that always got the signal quickly, but the battery charge suddenly started failing after around 4-5 holes.

My Garmin died. Was working well on the course, plugged it in and it refused to recharge. Tried different charger but nothing. Battery eventually drained and now won't come on or do anything
