We had a similar thing a couple of years back.
16 year old stole his Mum's Astra VXR, went to pick his mate up and the cruised for a while until they just didn't see a roundabout, took off and ended in a similar position the this TT.
Stunningly, they both walked away with barely a mark.
Took 3 months before the Family could move back into their house.......
