Rick and I are out. I didn't play too well, but rick was pretty hot. We were gross 3 over for 18, better ball, but walked into a couple of twenty something lads off 10 and 15 who were solid as. Ball striking was fantastic. Especially the 15, who used to play off 7 before quitting golf for a while (can't be long, he wasn't old enough). Good company, but we were always chasing it. Lost on 17. Again.

Cheers Crawford, were both off 12 so no shots to give away on either camp. He'll have the upper hand being at home but hopefully I will take Chris the golfer along, sorted my putting out right enough so that should save me about 20 shots !!!
 
Ive got mine tonight at home to a 10 handicapper. Feeling rather nervous as its my first official match play competition. Hope i can do team GM proud! :)

We're still waiting for our opponents to decide when they can be bothered to play. Can't believe the constant delays and getting sick of chasing them with no response. Keeping all the details though so if we don't get it played I hope the organisers will see it wasn't for the want of trying on our part.

Ive emailed my opponent to remind him about tonight twice and he hasnt responded. Im not sure if he is trying it on or he is just gonna not turn up. Ive got all the email convo saved in case he doesnt turn up but I think he might be trying to unsettle me :)

Hope he does turn up! We finally have some dates as chased again. Should be next week although a late kick off but that's fine as it's summer right and long sunny evenings to enjoy golf... :whistle:
