i was playing on saturday medals with two boys (brothers)i hadnt met before. slightly nervous you no (what will they make of me hacking round there course). introduced ourselves to each other on the tee. the older one says to me did you notice the flag is at half mast. yes i reply thats for our brother (who was also a member)he died during the week. i didnt no where to look and went quiet. im still upset about my wee brothers death. proceeded to top my drive.
well anyway we had a good laugh and i know that for the four hours it gave the boys a wee break from arranging funeral etc.
but to the funny shot. im in the middle of the fairway on 18th a wee flick with a wedge. before i hit my shot i told them what i done on my first medal 2 weeks ago. thinned my wedge into the lockerroom door OB. so i stepped up and done the same thing again. WHAT a laugh going down the 18th. as Dell boy says 'what a plonker':whoo:
