I've recently returned from a weeks holiday in Fuerteventura. While there I took the opportunity to play some warm weather golf.

As it was a family holiday we just played the front 9 at Salinas Golf (http://www.salinasgolf.com/). I was thoroughly impressed with the upkeep of the course, the friendly welcome and the overall experience of the golf.

We hired clubs and I thought that for 20 Euros the clubs we were given were absolutely fine (Wilson staff gear, maybe 2-3 years old). The fairways were fast and the greens even faster which took some getting used to after playing in this rain ridden land where plugged lies are the norm!

The only small criticism is that the map on the score card is not easy to read and decipher in figuring out the proximity of hazards.

Overall though a fabulous course and one I'd recommend if you fancy a round while on the island.
