Wondering if anyone fancies a round on the morning of friday april 1st?

I'm heading over towards the lakes for the weekend and the courses that are local to where i'm headed are:

Bentham gc
Casterton gc
Settle gc
Kirkby Lonsdale gc
Sedbergh gc
Skipton.

If anyone knows any others feel free to suggest somewhere.

Probably looking somewhere around 9am to 10am tee off.
 
I can't make that date, shame as I would have been happy to sign you into Skipton as a guest. If your heading up this way some other time just shout.
 
Would have loved to but working! I'd scratch off casterton if I were you as kirkby lonsdale is but a mile further down the road and much better although the greens are a bit iffy at the mo. Where you staying?
 
On a lads weekend, staying near ingleton i think. Every year we book a house in the middle of nowhere (perthshire last year) and stock up on booze/ps3/poker etc.

Fancy getting a round in on my way to meet the rest of the lads.

Cheers for the advice, which course would you recommend splash?
 
Bentham is only a couple of miles away and I'm playing in an open there tomorrow so I'll let you know.20 minutes drive gets you to morecambe or Lancaster which are superior to any you have mentioned. Skipton got some good holes and is enjoyable at 25 minutes in the other direction. I'd go for morecambe but I'm biased!!!!!
 
Bentham was a mess. Granted it'll dry out this month, a bit anyway. Greens slow and very bobbly - looking a bit diseased as well. Go go morecambe, skipton, kirkby or Lancaster. :) :)
 
Unfortunately I think my class may notice the lack of teacher! Happy to sign you in another time though. If you get a county card it'll pay for itself first time out. The course is already playing brilliantly so another month will see it in fine fettle - just watch the slopey greens.
 
Oh yes, forgot u mentioned u were a teacher splash! Pretty inflexible for time off!

Give me a shout any time u fancy a knock either up your way or round preston/blackpool.
