Sounds like a great game, maybe with search time limited to one minute to increase the jeopardy?

We went to 4 balls around 30 years ago. As already said without it tee times would have to be changed to ensure everybody gets a game.

I think part of the change was the fact that we have several swindles on a Saturday morning so playing in a comp is/was not that different. Also November - Feb Saturday comps are optional (done to avoid the club having to go through the process of refunding when the course has been closed).

Weekend mornings probably best sticking to foursomes only, gets people round the course quicker if they can play it properly.
