D) or may not know, my parents run a hotel in Woodhall Spa, which sits (quite literally) on the golf course. It's currently under going a £2million refurb and extension which will be finished at the end of March.
Spoke to my dearest mother last night and managed to persuade her to organise a "golf monthly" rate for those wanting to go up to Woodhall and play golf.
The hotel itself isn't "linked" with the golf club as the other two hotels in the village pay obscene amounts of money to the golf club for the right to be linked as "recommended" accommodation. The fact of the matter is, the EGU books all their employees and visitors into the Dower House whenever they're up in Woodhall.
The only thing this will mean is that you'll have to book the accommodation and golf separately but I can assure you that you won't find a better hotel in the village and one in such a good location.
Cynics amongst you (you know who you are
- this is not the case. Increased business would obviously be great, but in all honesty, I'm just looking to get guys from the forum the best possible experience from both the golf course and their accommodation. It's 4+ star quality in a country house hotel.
