For those flying to Inverness for The Castle Stuart Weekend

Double check with Flybe as they have effectively cancelled our flights by turning them from direct to indirect via edinburgh and adding a 3 hour stopover which wouldnt get us there until 3pm.
We have had to get a refund and organise a ferry over to troon, round trip of around 580 miles or so, nice!, still at least it will be in the Impreza, should make decent time

Thats bad news,as someone who does the A9 twice a week from Perth I still think it will be 5 hours from Troon on a good day.A few roadworks on the road just now. Best of luck and have a good trip.

Aye, done that road many a time on a Friday. Watch out for the sneaky roadside portable traps at that time of the year. 60mph on most of the Perth to Inverschnecky section.
