Those that have been following the Mizuno custom fit thread will know I'm selling my (almost new) Mizuno MX 200 irons. I've only played 3 rounds with them and the condition refelects this.

Snaintons are doing these on line for £370 for the 3-PW. I'm selling 4-PW which is the equivelant of £323.

I'm selling them for £225 (+ £10 P&P) which I think is a bargain considering the condition of them, so not open to offers.

Mizuno MX200 Dynalite Gold XP R300 shafts. Standard length & lie. Golf Pride Mizuno M21 grips

Photo's below and some blurb from the website if you want more info. These are a superb club from Mizuno and would suit beginners all the way down to low handicappers.

I will also donate £10 from the sale price to Help for Heroes.

The new Mizuno MX 200 irons with Y-tune technology are a quantum leap in game improvement design. Y-tune technology extends and expands the sweet area of the clubface out toward the toe to deliver amazing forgiveness on mis-hits. With the re-engineered external power bar and inner Y-shape cavity pad, the MX 200s are tuned for unbelievable forgiveness, great trajectory and amazing, forged feel. Further enhancing the forgiveness is a larger clubhead and the super deep milled pocket that creates a lower, deeper center of gravity

You could always swap your shafts over with your 57's then sell the 57's with the other shafts if you liked the MX200's :D

(Rick I hope im on a commission here :p)

:D

Too much hassle for me I'm afraid.

Nonesense, an hours job to remove the shafts, re-fit the other shafts, leave them overnight and head to the course in the morning.

Heat gun, araldite is all thats required.

So whats the RX300 shaft then? Why would that make a difference?

The R is for Regular and Astec needs a S for Stiff cos hes so strong!!

Basically it's a lighter shaft, (113 grammes) and will give a higher ball flight. Also becuase it's lighter it should promote a faster club head speed and therefore increase distance.

Website blurb
The new Dynalite Gold XP delivers “Xtra” trajectory and spin performance through a more responsive tip section, designed to optimize initial launch angle and maximize distance. This is a great design for lower ball hitters seeking maximum peak trajectory.

LOL

Now I'm a glutton for new stuff, and have liked the Mizuno's since I looked for clubs last year. I really like my Wilson starter set but have to say I'm tempted by these.. I'm buying a new putter this week (the Odyssey F7 2 ball one because I used it in Portugal and it was fantastic), so now wondering if I should upgrade anything else...

I dont NEED to, but seriously tempted by them.. would just leave me with my Wilson driver, 3wood and fatshaft hybrid!

Hmmmm, what to do??????

Im off to the range tonight, as it happens, my local range is the New Malden Mizono centre. Do you think they will let me hit a couple of MX-200's to see what they feel like etc?

If so, and I like them, I think I will go for these, and as you say, its a great deal so even if I dont get on with them I can resell them on..

Will they let me use the clubs then, Im not sure how that works? And who do I ask?

Cheers

Jez

Tell them you are thinking of buying a set, dont say too much more than that and I am sure they will let you have a play. Tell them you want to try the Dynalight XP R300 shaft, I think its stock on that club anyhow.

Rick, im only looking for 10% commision :D

Zezter, the New Malden facility is run by American Golf. They should definitely have a set in stock for you to try.
Failing that, the Mizuno centre is upstairs at the end of the range. You could always check with them to see if they have an MX200 in case AG don't.

If all else fails, we could meet up somewhere in the middle one night and you can hit the actual clubs... :D

I appreciate that Rick. OK, let me have a word with them tonight, and I'll either be back onto you later on tonight or tomorrow mornig.
How would we arrange it, payment I mean. Delivery should be straight forward enough I guess?
