Football stadiums.

Been in many of his stands over the years, the criss-cross lattice work being one of his signatures. Spurs "shelf", the Bullens road, Pompey's old main stand, and a few more.

I didnt know that he was linked to the first Ibrox disaster, though.

As a teenager and a youth I read Simon Inglis's "football grounds of England and Wales" from cover to cover, as well as his latter one on European grounds. The saddo in me used to always read the chapter on any new ground I went to before I went, and I'd always walk around the ground and have a shufty at all 4 stands, if I could. Some hairy moments ate the likes of Genoa, Millwall, Boro and a few others, as always bought a souvenir pennant at new grounds back then also.
