Anyone do them?

Started recently and it's like shelling peas, must be about £120 up in 6 weeks.

No doubt the run will end tomorrow so don't go for my weekend picks of Watford,Burnley,Huddersfield and Crawley Town @ £4.50 returns £67.50 or more likely zilch!

Interested if anyone else dabbles on wee (or big) punts on accumulators.

8-10 timers with a couple of quid, don't come up very often but are worth it when they do. I only put a couple of quid as they are more of an interest than anything. Usually a few 1/2, 1/4 etc with the odd 6/4 and evens types to boost it a little. I've found that the odds on bets are the ones that screw the bets more than the supposedly more evenly matched games.

Used to years ago - one tip, stay away from Rangers and Celtic.

They will get beat at home once that season but it will bust your otherwise winning ticket, its a cert.

There's 10 of us at work do this every week. We put in a quid a head then take it in turns to pick the bet. We keep any winnings in the safe at work and divide it up at xmas.
This year we're about 3 grand up so we've each got £300 coming next week.

What a cracking idea Iain.....might see if the Pro,Greeny and Barman are interested.

Do one every week with usually 4 or 5 teams on it also do a "Goal Rush" where you need both teams to score(this is a great bet as its never beaten until full time whistle goes as all you need is 1 goal so a team can be 5 or 6 goals down but your bet still alive)

Unfortunately im not having much luck this season:angry:

Five of us in a wee bet club, deep sea diver every week, hopefully Machrihanish will be paid for in full.

i use to do them and i've only done one this season.was always about even with them, winning some weeks and then losing for about 3/4 weeks before winning again.

the most i usually win is about £30-£40 and each week i'd put about £5-£10 on.

Lager tonight not champagne.
Same here, Everton not getting a goal against Arsenal and west ham not getting one eithrt threw mine out the window for what looked like a good bet at 380-1 x£2.

Dominos for dinner tonight I think to drown the sorrows in calories.

I do them pretty much every weekend. However I seem to have the 'One let me down syndrome' this season. Haven't had a winner yet, but it's always one or two results (usually the 'dead certs you'd think) that let me down :/

Well this weeks donation to Patrick Power is a treble on Arbroath,Alloa (betting against my team at a game I am going to and having hospitality at....tut tut!) and Norwich. £3 returns £74.51 or alternatively the square root of nothing.

Fancy trying this accumulator thing, bet a wee bit on the golf and footie now and again.
No idea how to do it but in sure the live chat girl on pp will keep me right.

Side note- ooooh could be messy this evening dodge, I had to decline taking todays game as its Xmas party time the night.
Maybe take the game on 14th if you fancy.

My weekly losing bets are

Bristol City
Crawley
Rotherham
Fleetwood
Stranraer

£5 returns approx £100

And my Goal Rush(both teams to score)

West Ham v Barnsley
Blackburn v West Brom
Brighton v Burnley
Sheff Wed v Huddersfield
Exeter v Scunthorpe
Ipswich v Derby

£5 returns £84
