Five things I won't miss.

Having attempted over the last couple of months to to become involved in the forum I have now decided it is time to depart.
However, before I do I thought I might at least list the five strands & threads I will definitely not miss:-

1. "I can drive it 325 yards 99.9% of the time."
2. Definitive lessons from guys never likely to get their handicap below 12.
3. Recommendations for all clubs to dumb down and become Fun Pubs with a golf-course.
4. A lack of understanding by so many of the problems faced by Committees & Proprietors.
5. Members with an opinion/fact to suit every situation. Honestly, 20,000 posts!!

So, having got that off my chest it only remains to wish you all a fond adieu and may all your problems be solved by stacking & tilting.

Hell, I walked out on my first wife with less dialog than that.
If you feel the need to go, then go.

Hey if he wants to do one, then let him. I can't ever remember anything he has posted on anyway. This is a forum and people are entitled to start a post on anything subject they like, just because it is on the forum does not mean you have to read it.

There are always other posts apart from those. But the main topics that come up are on here as that is what people have concerns about and want to hear other opinions on it. What right does anyone have to say what people can and can't post about.

I love logging in and having a good old chat and sometimes an argument starts over certain subjects. But hey there are no hard feelings over it and it is all forgotten a day later.

Oh well I'll get over it. There - done.

Despite focussing on all the negatives what the OP forgot to look at in the bigger picture were the things like forum meets and the unique offers GM give us. I'm sure in his limited time here he's had a nibble at those and would have been more than happy to stay if he'd been at the RBZ day for example. I love it, even the mickey taking, brickbats and odd bits of abuse (and thats just at me) and I don't care that some subjects keep coming up. The weird and whacky mentality on here make sure it is never exactly the same and EVERYONE is treated the same.

One posters loss and probably the forums gain
