First outing with rangefinder

Hi,
Have been looking for one for a while with the pinseaker ability was it easy to get the flag from 200 yards away? Did u order it from Aus?
Mike

I've got the Bushnell V2 and its great. Picks out the pin no problem, although it did take a while of Friday directly into a low, bright Sun.
I find it a bit more tricky getting yardages to bunkers/ditches, although I can mark something very nearby and get a pretty close distance - double checking things with the GPS at the moment until I'm satisfied I don't need it anymore.

Ordered it from e-bay USA. Picks out flag at 200 no problem and was able to pick out other hazards really easily

Hi,
Can't find it on USA ebay only on the link u posted for the Aus version was it much cheaper from the US and do you have the link.
Mike

Not a fan I'm afraid as I'm usually playing from behind an obstacle with no line of sight. I've tried them and they are very good so if that's your bag then go for it. Personally I'd stick with my SC and having all the hazards mapped

Yes does help if you've line of sight :D yesterday I had to bend down to sight the flag under some branches and it was able to pick it up well.
Downside of GPS is they cant tell you where the flag is. Took Mrs USD out today to let her have a play with it and very impressed :D
