First day back...........

.........with the small putter. The redwood made its appearance today and after a total of 33 putts including two 3 putts I really cant complain.

The greens were certainly not great and both 3 jabs came from 30+ feet. Looks as though the time on the carpet working on a stroke may pay off. I holed out quite well and was fairly positive with the stroke. Early doors but I've made a committment to myself to stick with this short stick all year as its the "puttee", not the putter thats at fault. I had a couple of putts that got away but overall I've got to be very happy with the results today.

Think I'll celebrate with a night off putting stroke practice!

Good stuff, putting is key and it will take a bit of getting re used to it. Im fairly happy with my putting. Still the odd 3 but I have a good routine and better stroke than a year or so back.

All I think about when putting is "no consequences".....its only a putt after all. This mind set lets me get to the hole more often than I used to. I used to be too timid with putts before leaving load short. Probally go and have a mare next time Im out after saying this....

I need to get back to some work with the Pathfinder as its been a few weeks and the stroke was decidedly long and loose yesterday.
