First cut of the year

Well after really struggling for the last 4-5 months with changes to my game/swing it has all started to bed in nicely, so much so that yesterday in a stroke competition I shot a gross 81 net 69 with 3 double bogeys for a nice 0.6 cut and moved back to 11.

Here's hoping the rest of open week can see me get to single figures.

Nice work! Once I'm back off holiday next weekend, I really want to try and work hard on getting my swing and grip changes bedded in for some consistency and get my short game up to scratch so I can start getting a few cuts and get me down to mid-teens before the year's out.

Cheers mate, good thing was I hit nearly every fairway had had enough birdie chances resulting from that. The doubles came from making the wrong decision so hopefully it shouldn't be too far away.
