You can have one behind the ball, one in front or both as in the video.
You could use anything soft, a rolled up towel/sweater, sponge or anything that is at least 4 in high and would get in the way of an out to in swing.

The idea is to hit the ball without hitting the objects by swing more in to out

Its an old man's swing, what do you expect
Both those drives went over 150 yards
