you need to drop £500 on a new GFX card and some memory to play the new game of the year it's certainly a bit of a false economy.
well I have had a bit of reflection and decided to let my 16 y/o have my pc setup, I have an ipad for web browsing and a laptop for my iphone/ipad sync & downloading tunes/movies etc.
It will also free up the dining room as at the mo its a messy office
Now to format this and reinstall stuff for him... joy of joys![]()
haha, I hoover it out and clean it once a month in fact it gets better tlc than my gf![]()
(apologies for geek speak if anyone doesnt know what the hell I am on about)
Just fired up the pc for a bit of gaming.... can't be bothered with anything. Updated steam and nowt I fancied, loaded up GTA liberty city, turned off after 2 mins, thought I may have a game of cs:s and same
Updated origin and fired up battlefield 3... again bored after 5 mins.
loaded up Footy manager and exactly the same.
I miss the old days of clans and playing cs, race nights on GTR on ventrillo etc
I guess age has caught up with me at 40
gutted but I suppose its just a natural progression towards being a miserable old git!
I now have a kick ass quad core pc, 8gb ram, twin gfx and 24" 1080p monitor.... for browsing the web![]()
Plus the PS3 I can use to stream media from my NAS and from the web etc. It's more of a home media centre that just happens to play kick ass games![]()
based on this I tried BF3 again last night, first 10 mins was great fun, flying choppers, charging thru the desert in a tank blasting kamikaze jeeps and dodging jets.........
20 mins later.........bored
surfed some youtube golf videos instead:thup:
