played in the Midweek hat 9 hole comp this evening and got to our 8th teebox. The hole is a reasonable S.I. 7 par 4. Around 400 yards, it isn't the longest on the course but a bad teeshot leaves you struggling for par.
Anyway, upon getting to the teebox and about to tee up I saw this (pic below) with the tee still in the ground too..
Ladies and gents of the jury, I present the almighty top. Just looking at it makes me feel pity for some poor sod. :D

Apologies, the copy paste image link didnt work first time. (still had my last link cached) fixed now.
I wonder if it made it to the end of the teebox?

Slight out to in, steep angle of attack and head in front of the ball at impact. The ball probably bounced along the tee

I played a few weeks back with my best mate and laughed my nuts off when he managed a track like in the picture. As karma had it, I was next and managed to plug the ball in the tee box around 6 inches in frontof the tee which was standing proud :(

Have you got nothing better to do on the golf course? No wonder play is so slow.

We were waiting on the fourball in front (we were just a twoball).
While we were waiting before that we spent a while fixing pitchmarks on the front landing areas of the greens on the previous holes. He had plenty of time! (plus I was taking a panorama shot of the same hole for the "how long has your course been shut" thread. :)

Did it last Monday on the 1st tee in the club foursomes, ball went backwards with front spin and came forwards again. My playing partner had to hit our second from behind where I teed off lol. He only just made it about 2 feet onto the fairway due to laughing so much. We still got a half on the hole and won the match too lol
