Following on the roaring success of the iPhone suggestions can I pick your brains again. We're looking for your favourite additions for your golf trips. So it could be a nice hip flask, scorecard holder, anything to help your aches and pains, any particular clothing/socks, good value compression gear, handwarmers... anything really that you'd recommend to a mate?

Cheers

Plenty of socks. I hate having sweaty feet or socks so I go through a lot on a trip, always have some spare.

An excessive number of balls, just in case.

Unless in a nailed on heatwave I will have every eventuality covered. Cold, windy, wet, full jumper, sleeveless etc.

This could be why I have a car with a large boot, why I fill it on a trip ?

Nurofen, werthers original, sun glasses, fisherman's friend, masks, coats, woolly hat, wet gloves, plastic sacks, umbrella, cravat, long socks, shorts, skort to change into afterwards, All the kind of stuff needed for a golf forum golf trip, been some harsh lessons learnt.

Extra pair of shoes, as been known to misplace a pair.

Shoe care kit (cloth/brush and possibly shoe cream) in case it's quite muddy. Also some spare towels/cloths to clean my clubs after if it's a multi-day trip.

A good book to wind down with before bed.

We always pack a green jacket that is presented to each days winner.
It must be proudly worn for that evenings shenanigans!

Sun cream. I only intend on going on hot weather trips from now on. (y) Took me weeks to warm up after playing Silloth on the Turnberry trip.
