Old skier has given me a thought which led onto Tequila. Beezerk mentioned he had a few over here last month. Me ave just tried a shot. It was called " Insolent". Sweet mother it was glorious. Won awards and all that. It was from a tequila tasting shop so he never sold any rammel. So Tash may be bringing a bottle back. Anyway what's your favourite
" treat " tipple and how did you get on it. Me, its Ron Zacapa Rum and I can that "Alma de Cuba" In Liverpool for that.

Depends on the time of day, and the time of year. Hot weather, cider with ice on a lunchtime. White wine of an evening. Cold weather, beer or red wine at lunchtime, same of an evening. Late of an evening, brandy.

Dont know why Hobbit but the white wine has been hammered this last few days ?

Taylor’s tawny port, with cheese of course
And walnuts ...

Like the Glenfiddich solera reserve .. straight up.
Grants in a hot toddy - tried that last night was very good.
Guinness but I am trying some craft or IPAs at the moment.
Cobra and Indian - always (I am not posh enough for wine with Indian )
A crisp Chardonnay or Chablis

Cobra or Kingfisher? Mmm, tough one

For a cold beer in the garden on a summer evening, La Goudale wins hands down.

At the moment Mrs Wedge has us gargling a snifter before bed to eradicate any virus in the throat - as a good an excuse as any :D. She's partial to a Glenmorangie, I don't like whisky, so am on the more girlie Antica (liquorice Sambucca) which I have become quite partial to over the last few weeks.

It's usually spiced rum and coke for me when I've had enough beers/ciders. I like Kraken rum although I sorted of ruined that for myself on Christmas Day by drinking an entire bottle and having the worst hangover ever on Boxing Day.

A beer called Magic Lambic that I first had at Cantillon’s tap room in Brussels. It’s a framboise (raspberry wild fermented beer) supplemented with blueberries and Madagascan vanilla. It’s so moreish and easy drinking. I buy it on sight.

During the day I am happy with coffee

In the evening it's red wine.

For a treat either Armagnac or Grand Marnier (orange label)

I love a glass of Port.

Also a really cold glass of pepsi with ice when it's really hot. Out of a glass bottle if possible

Similarly, I like Kriek after a stint in Brussels (Beer Circus) Lambic with the second fermentation being with Morello cherries. Slightly sour from the Lambic and the cherries but with an oddly sweet aftertaste.
Great ice cold and like Frambois you can easily get smashed without even realising.
