Mine have turned on their head in the last 6 months. I've turned into a Ping fanboy without really realising it.

I don't know that I've bought too much rubbish, more clubs that were totally inappropriate for me. Oh yes, Stuburt shoes. They were rubbish, as were the replacements under warrant, as were the replacements for the replacements.

Wedges - Titleist, but I prefer Clevelands
Putter - Nike

Balls - Bridgestone or Srixon
Shoes Adidas
Clothes whatever I like the look and fit of.

For me it's not about the brand but the feel and what I like at the time.

Have I bought anything that turned out to be crap yes my Custom fit pair of Vokey Wedges that are shortly being replaced.

I still play all the clubs / brands mentioned above. I guess Crow's list will be longer!

I've used something from pretty much every brand over the 15 years I've been playing.
Current favourite brand (driver and irons) is cobra. Really good combo of quality and price imho.
Still have Callaway, ping, epon and yonex in the bag to keep them honest.
For shoes, I've made the expensive discovery that Ecco shoes are really comfy...

As for rubbish, the first set I bought were Mike Ashley's finest Dunlops....

Taking this a step further, are you brand loyal with regards to clothing? Do you have favourite brands you stick to or do you buy anything that looks good? Personally, I like a lot of the Ping clothing and very happy with the quality, but also go for a lot of Footjoy and Under Armour stuff too.

On the back of this what clubs/manufacturers have surprised you/disappointed you:

Positive:
Never Compromise Putter-great feel, hugely surprised with this club and one I would definitely put in the bag again.

Negative:
Adams pro DHY driving iron-felt like
hitting the ball with a brick, really did not get on with it at all.
