Got a call from my mate last night as he had just had his "new" R11 driver and 3-wood delivered and wanted to check the 3w against one i bought from AG a few weeks ago. He bought it from golfstore18.com and only became suspicious that something was wrong when he couldn't get in touch with them to ammend his original order. (Web site only has an email contact)
Anyway, the 3w they sent him looks a bit fishy. Poor paint job around the crown, FCT component of shaft labelled incorrectly and it appears they have used a old fishing rod for the shaft as it is so wobbly (meant to be a stiff 70 blur).
He bought these with a credit card and it costs £150 to return them. My question is, where does he go now? Does he have any comeback at all in this situation or does he just chalk it up to experience?
