Well, I may have just got some clubs that can replace my 11 year old Miura forged TM300s!

I've just had the combo set of Tourstage MR23 US Spec/US Blades w soft-stepped Rifle 6.5s soft-stepped again so that I have heavy but not too stiff (about 5.9) shafts. Tried them out on the range at Silvermere and they felt lovely and went extremely well especially the blades (7 down) which fly lower than normal. Can't wait to try them on the course - tomorrow?

Forged by Epon, CBs are about the size of Miura CB501s (very compact). Blades are 'standard' blades but with high CofG for lower flight.

Couple of pics from the web of what they were like without bag-chatter!

Used today and quite impressed!

Might take a bit of getting used to as they are noticeably heavier (therefore a tad less 'feel'), but no probs hitting them. Might even put the 4-iron back in the bag - LW ditched for Winter. I'm now hitting straight/draw rather than the straight/push that was prevalent with the TM300s. Not sure whether that's a good thing or not!

Also did a comparison of the 9015D/TP7(S) vs SupeLite/Miyazaki 43(R). 9015D wins - though the tardy members faffing about on the last hole ruined my 100% Fairways hit stat!
