Just been out for an early morning walk and it looks like the local group for Extinction Rebellion have been busy. They have put up loads of posters on lampposts trying to raise awareness for their cause. Only trouble is, all the posters are attached with plastic zip ties! Are they not clever enough to realise that plastic is killing the planet and maybe string would have been better. And I bet they drove round putting them up 🤔

it is funny, but they seem to be focused on politics and not changing the lifestyle of the public.

It makes me sad that groups like this give passionate environmentally minded citizens a bad name. There are a lot of people trying to do a lot of little things in their life to help but should not be associated with groups like that.

You only have to look at the replies to other threads about climate change to see people on here couldn't care less and would prefer to try and be smart arses .

I suspect all the folk on the march will be holidaying in Cornwall this year, and walking there. But, Tarquin and Freya will like be like, spitting feathers if the like, 2 weeks in Tuscany is like, off!

Yes, Governments need to get their butts in gear about the environment, but the hypocrisy is immense. (and hilarious, usual suspects eg Ms Thompson) Maybe this is just as much of the problem as the "don't cares"

China......
As much as I do what I can to help the enviroment, this just proves everything I, you, the country as a whole do is a drop in the ocean compared to the damage bening done with instances like that.
