Everton v Liverpool

Never mind the rights and wrongs of the sending or non sending offs what about the Holy Goalie??

I was poorless laughing at him, great keeper but prone to at least 3 dire bloopers a season. His face as he turned to look to see who he could blame was funny, nearly as funny as the look when he realised there was no-one to blame but himself!!:D

If, when translated, you mean the gift of a goal Boruc gave the Gunners yesterday then I couldn't agree more... Worst bit of 'keeping I've seen for many a year at any level...

Add "How the hell is Wayne Rooney still on the field?" to this weekend's questions. Expect a retrospective ban next week but that won't chalk off the goal that he has just scored or help Cardiff for the rest of the game that they should be facing 10 men in.

None of it matches the Palace result against Hull and all the sweeter beating the arse that is Steve Bruce!!

I dont think he will be retrospectively banned, as the ref booked him, so it is seen as dealt with by the ref. I know they have tinkered with this rule for this season, but not sure they have altered this bit.

You're right LB, my bad, it was on in the background and I caught it second time round so didn't realise that he had been booked, the commentators seemed to impy that no action whatsoever had been taken. I think it would now take the referee admitting that he didn't see it properly or something along those lines for anything to change.

I think Mirallas should have gone and dont buy into a tackle being different because it was made by an attacker over a defender ..

Rooney defo should have gone off .. (im not anti utd or Rooney in any way)

Wes brown i think he should sue the referee (joking .. a bit) if that tackle is a card of any sort then pack football up and ship it out ..

I think Gerrard was lucky , he lead with the elbow but pulled out , so im ok with that decision if im honest ..

I think its a big thing for us (well me) to be disappointed in a draw against pool , i think Rodgers is doing a fine job and pool will be top 4 , so it shows we aint too shabby ...

i personaly think if the referee has a potentially match (maybe season) changing decision to make he should be allowed to consult a tv official like the rubgy .. referees decision what gets reviewed or not tho, not the players or managers .. and he can be judged on that then..

Too often for some reason the bigger clubs are getting decisions they shouldn't be against lesser clubs , some of these decisions are costing top flight status , loss of income & job losses .. there needs to be more consistency somehow..

A pleasure to see a well balanced, unbiased opinion on a footy topic on here - ban him for life, mods!:whoo::cheers:

FOOTBALL GOSSIP
Tottenham want to bring 21-year-old Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata to Stamford Bridge on loan according to the Daily Mail, but the Spanish giants will only allow the move to happen if they can bring in a new forward.

Real Madrid were interested in Liverpool's Luis Suarez and Robert Lewandowski of Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

Interesting ploy be AVB!

What a great game.
Almost wants to make me revoke all I say about the EPL.

I only saw the 2nd half, but was pretty unimpressed - even allowing for the Derby nature!

Liverpool can count themselves lucky to not be 2 behind after the best pass in the game and Allen's miss has to be a contender for Blunder of the Year.

Unimpressed? - tough crowd.

Allen - Jeez. If he would have blasted it, or the keeper saved it, fair enough, but for a professional to place it from 10 yards out with the keeper on the floor and miss the target, was shockingly bad.
