Thought i would start a Euro thread.
It all starts today with Poland and Greece.
Your thoughts on all games as they are played.
Who you think will win the game.
Comments as they happen.
Could be an interesting few weeks.
Poland 1-0 to start
 
Mate - thought I would save you all the effort; Ze Germans to beat Spain in the final 2-1 after extra time! Spanish season only finished about two weeks ago and therefore fatigue will be there undoing!
 
Poland v Greece - 1-1

I think the Germans will be in the Final but not sure if Spain will. Agree with Pieman that a lot of them will be tired. As for England we'll be back home after three games and Woy can then start to build his own side and get us into the next World Cup

Yep.

Also, in what minute will there be the first racist chant and 'monkey' noises at a Ukraine game?!! And as such in what year will UEFA / Platini will finally admit they got it wrong with awarding them co-host of the tournament....................!!

Bit longer than 2 weeks ago. But the Spanish season finished at the same time in 2008 and 2010 and Spain went on to dominate both times.

They failed to deal with the backlash from the sickening chants the Dutch got in training so my guess its something else neatly swept under the carpet and forgotten about as soon as the tournament is over. Unless it becomes a huge topic across Europe in the press and TV and they can't escape by sitting on their hands then they'll do Jack
 
Read the other day that they were increasing the numbers in 2016 to 24 to ensure some countries will have more chance of qualifying.There will also be a Group stage.
 
What an absolute joke.
How the hell can someone get sent off for those offences.
I feel for the guy.
Once again the officials are incompetent.

ObviouSly as an arsenal man I am biased, but a sending off for that, followed by a ban? Soft. He will be fit for next season though.
