Euro Champs This Weekend (England SPoiler)

Would possibly agree with that, he certainly is improving year on year.

His recovery skills are outstanding - doesn't look to have too many areas of weakness - maybe his pace

Seriously??

Yet another case of a young English player shows potential & everyone goes ott.
He wouldn't make a world 11 or even 22 at the minute I'm afraid.

Great potential but at the moment way too wasteful as was shown the other night. Great that he's in there to miss them and he's still learning but not a world XI player yet by a long chalk. Maybe in time.

Big hand setting up both goals

Three shots with 2 off target

If that's "way too wasteful" I can't wait to see when you think he isn't wasteful

How about when a fairly easy ball came across the box, and he swung and completely missed it?

He is a good player, getting better, but absolutely nowhere near the best 22 in the world. Even less so if it was picking 2 teams, where he would only be picked in one of a few positions.

Well I would normally pick him at CB ?

And against Norway?

Man of the Match I understand and was head and shoulders above anyone else

Penalty came from another of his runs I understand.

Sterling is looking like England's potentially one true star.

Thought it had been to quiet lately. Whatever. Missed some good chances and had a chance to put it on a plate for a colleague. Don't get me wrong, he's young and he's got HUGE potential and isn't the finished article and will get much better. However at the moment, he's not as clinical as he could be and I'd argue at a similar age Owen or Rooney was a more potent finisher
