jeez I still can't believe the expectations some of you guys are hyping on a team that is essentially the same as last world cup!!! Get a grip. England are about to enter a huge transitional phase with their squad that is tired and technically very weak. Blaming Hodgson etc. skirts round the big issues within your game that isn't creating the grass roots talent with the technical skills and mentality to to compete and win at the top level.

Going into these champs and doing a Chelsea is their one and only option.

Not adding Rio to the squad is a joke.
Its become political.
Adding Kelly to the squad,not just instead of Rio,but what about Richards,unbelieveable.
I honestly cant see us getting out of the group.
I wont mind if im wrong,but Roy needs to wake up and fast.

Maybe they didn't have 'style'... But every single member of the squad in them days was proud to pull on an England shirt... Sadly, same can't be said of some of the current crop of England wannabees... Think they just see it as another tick box on their CV and a potential way of enhancing their salary...
