I think Smith will be straight back in - not so sure about Warner , it wasn’t his first incident and has had a few issues since as well

It was always only gonna be lip service by the Aussies. Langer is clearly going to take it all back to the way it was before. Smith and Warner will be straight back in as the Aussies wont care one jot about what he's done before.
Everything Australia does is over the top and beyond necessity. One year bans for the three were ridiculous, 3-6 test matches at most would have sufficed, but it gave the Australians the opportunity to be sanctimonious and attempt to claim the moral high ground: look at us, we're the best at solving cricket's ball tampering issues.
I'm not a great fan of India and Kohli's antics but i'm hoping India win this series as Australia are just horrendous.
On a separate note it was hilarious seeing Starc's comments about Airhorn Warne. Warne has become the Aussie equivalent of Boycott as a pundit: absolutely awful but keeps his job as he throws in controversial opinions which are manna from heaven for broadcasters.
