my 20 degree hybrid is currently a lite steel shaft, was wondering if i changed to a graphite shaft would it go further?

cheers gareth, probably a regular whatever is stock, ive a 17 four wood then mizzy 3 20 degree hybrid with lite shafts. i did have a 17 hybrid but with stock mizzy shaft. i could not hit it. ive moved golf course and its a driver for about 3 or 4 holes the rest is positioning. im trying to talk myself into a new 20/21 hybrid with graphite shaft but dont want to lose control of my steel shafts. perhaps i shouldnt have asked this as i think ive overthought this, lol
