Not defending any of the other players you have mentioned, as you quite rightly say there are a fair number of pretty horrible characters in footy.

It does come across as though you are defending Diouf in particular though (I may be wrong). Spitting into the crowd and at ballboys is getting pretty close to the lowest of the low to be honest.

Nothing made me more angry playing football for 15 years than some tw*t spitting at me that unfortunately happened a few times.

I am a wolves supporter.

I am not defending EHD in any way, shape or form, he isn't a particularly pleasant character. My point throughout this thread has been that there are footballers out there who have done much worse than he has yet don't appear to be demonised anywhere near as much.

If you, and clearly others, feel that spitting is worse than: grooming underage teen girls on the internet, refusing to even take the pitch for your club, swearing quite explicitly into a sky tv camera, assaulting a player on the pitch and ending his career, two footed flying kicks at spectators, drink driving, drugs, sexual assault, then you are welcome to your opinion.
 
Having spoken EHD mother for the last 20 mins ,she confirmed what a nasty peice of work he is,adding, when he
was born the midwife slapped him on the face,not to give him life,she just did'nt like him..

At no point did I say spitting was worse than any you have mentioned there mate so settle yourself down.
